We are going to make text circle above and below
this graphic! Right click on the Tulips below and
save to your hard drive, open in PSP
STEP 1 Open your Layer Palette
STEP 2 RIGHT click on Background, then click on Promote To Layer
STEP 3 Click on the papers on your Layer Palette to create
a new layer
STEP 4 Rename that Layer, TEXT ABOVE...click OK
STEP 5 Now click on your Preset Shapes Tool
STEP 6 Making sure these are your settings...shape ELLIPSE
ANTILIAS and CREATE AS VECTOR is checked, LINE WIDTH 1 and
LINE STYLE #1, and your color palette is set the same way...
Color of your circle makes no difference, you do not have to
match my color, just make sure the top is the color and the
bottom setting is set to null.
STEP 7 Now draw a oval around the Tulips. You can adjust
your circle by clicking and draging the little squares.
STEP 8 Now choose a color for your text. Click and hold
down on the NULL on the styles color palette, an option box
will open up, click on the paint brush
STEP 9 Now click on the bottom styles box and your color
palette will open, choose your color for your text. This is
the color I chose #EA7AC1
STEP 10 Now click on the Text Tool
STEP 11 Now put your curser on the top of the circle so
that you see a "A" with a rocker, (curved line), underneath it. Click
STEP 12 Your text palette will open. Choose your font, size,
and click the option for Standard Text. These are my settings.
You can change to suit what you want :o) Click OK
STEP 13 This is what your graphic will look like with the text floating
STEP 14 This is what your Layer Pallette should look like

Now, RIGHT click on Layer 2 and then click on Delete
STEP 16 Now, click on Selections, then Select None
STEP 17 This is what your graphic and Layer Palette should look like
WHEW, half way done :o)
STEP 18 Now add another layer, naming it Text Below...remember
how? STEPS 3 & 4 above :o) This is what your Layer Palette
should look like now.
STEP 19 Now, repeat STEPS 5 & 6. This is what you
will have. Try to match the upper part of the circle/oval to
the curve of your wording.
STEP 20 NOW, go to the top and click on Image then Flip.
STEP 21 Now, get your text color back by clicking
and holding on the bottom styles box, click on the Paint brush
and your text color will return. Now repeat STEP 11, yes, the same
spot as before, trust me :o)
STEP 22 When the text palette opens up, put in you next
line of text, making sure the options in STEP 12 are the same. This
is what your graphic and Layer Palette should look like now.
STEP 23 Now we are going to do the same as in STEPS 15 & 16
only you will be Deleting Layer 3 instead of Layer 2. This is what
you graphic will look like and your Layer Pallette, looks dumb huh, LOL
STEP 24 Now comes the magic, LOL, click on Image, then FLIP
then click on Image again and then Mirror. You may have to use your
mover tool to get it in just the right spot. This is what it should
look like now.
STEP 25 Ok, it is a bit lopsided, lol, lets trim
it up first. Then go to your Layer Palette and right click on
Layer 1 and go to Merge, then Merge All (flatten).
I buttonized mine also :o). This is the finished graphic.
