We are going to make this little guy blink!

Open your Tiger Cub Tube in PSP. You will need to have your
Layer Palette open as well, click on the symbol
circled in green to open your Layer Palette:

Now right click on Layer 1 and choose Duplicate:
Now left click on the 2 papers in the corner of
your Layer Palette:
To make a new Layer, leaving settings as they are here
Click ok:
This is what your Layer Palette should look like now:
Make sure Copy Of Layer 1 is active, highlighted, and
Layer 2 has a red X over the glasses by clicking on the glasses...
also zoom in on your cub with the maginfy glasses, you want it large:
Click on Selection Tool (small green circle), making
sure that your Tool Options-Selection Palette is as shown
(Large green circle):
Now "draw" an ellipse in the area shown:
Starting at coordinates 168,70...
click and drag till it reaches 176,75...
Let go...now RIGHT click on the top of your cub
image and choose COPY:
Go to Selections, and from the drop down menu,
choose Select None:
Now on your Layer Palette, click on Layer 2 to make
it active, this will also get rid of the red X:
Now right click on the top of your cub image and choose
Paste as New Selection:
You will see your piece as you move your cursor around.
Place it at the bottom of his right eye, when it is lined up
where you want it, click once:
Then do the last 2 steps again only line up the second
patch above the first one, click once:
Then go back to Selections, and from the drop down menu,
choose Select None:
This is what your cub pic should look like:
This is what your Layer Palette should look like:
On your Layer Palette, right click on Layer 2 and
choose Duplicate:
Your Layer Palette should look like:
This is what you cub will look like:
Now, with your Mover Tool, move the right patch
over to cover the left eye...you will see 2 patches now, one
on the right and one one the left:
On your Layer Palette, click on the glasses on Layer
1 and Copy of Layer 1 to turn those layers off for now, and
Layer 2 is active by clicking on it in your Layer Palette:
Right click on Layer 2, go to Merge, then
Merge visible:
This is what your pic and Layer Palette should
Look like...funny looking huh, LOL
Now we want to blur it a bit to make it look
softer...Go to Effects, Blur, Blur:
This is what you will get:
Now turn on Copy of layer 1 by clicking on the glasses:
Now right click on Merged Layer then Merge, then
Merge visible:
This is now what your Layer Palette should look like:
Click on the glasses on Layer 1 to turn that layer on:
Now go to Image, then resize:
When the box opens, make this your settings:
Now go to Effects, Sharpen, Sharpen, click:
Now do the same thing on Layer 1, highlighting
it as showen in green to make it the active layer,,,Effects,
Sharpen, Sharpen:
Now you are ready to save. File, Save as, choose
a name for you cub image, and make sure you save in psp Format:
Open the Animation Shop :o)
Click on the square that is circled in green
This is the Animation Wizard:
For the next 4 images, make sure your settings
are as shown and click next for each:
Now click on Add Image. Search to find the cub
image you saved, double click on it:
It will put it in the window, click Next:
Then click Finish:
This is what will open in The Animation Shop:
Now RIGHT click on the first frame and
choose Frame Properties:
Change the number there to 300
Now your frames should have 300 under the first one
and 10 under the second frame:
Now go to the top of The Animation Shop and
click the View Animation box:
If it is to your liking, it it time to save your work.
You can adjust the speed of your frames if you prefer a slower or
faster blink :o). Just right click on the frame you want to change
and change the number in Frame Properties. The higher the number
the slower things go.
Now it is time to save. File, save as, give your
animation a name, click save, this box should pop up, Check
your settings, click next:

And here you have your blinking Tiger Cub:
